In the early stage, λtype structures were widely adopted for turbine blade seals in China. Under longterm operating conditions of some units, this structure may suffer seal failure and struggle to satisfy longterm stableoperation requirements for certain units. Through continuous technical R&D, Techemer Composites has developed an elasticplastic polymer alloy featuring relatively low friction coefficient, good mechanical strength, oilresistance, watermedium resistance and long service life. The selfdeveloped Vtype combined sealing structure has helped many power plants at home and abroad improve relevant sealing challenges. At present, this product has been applied in multiple largescale domestic axialflow propeller and bulb tubular power stations to mitigate longterm leakage issues.
